Production Manager
Description
Forward-thinking, fast paced company looking to hire an individual with a strong knowledge and understanding of the digital media landscape, project management and experience in content creation. Results Imagery is currently expanding, growing its client base in addition to a foundational team. The Production Manager is the facilitator of the entire production, the conductor that keeps everything rolling smooth and in a timely manner.
The Production Manager is responsible to source talent (models), scout locations (and reserve/book them), prepare equipment for production, make sure all production is on budget and, above all, make sure all risk assessments and agreements are signed, in addition to, all permits for production have been accepted. The Production Manager is the glue to the company, taking on all client communication after the project has closed and handed over from the Director of Partnerships. From that point forward, the Production Manager, is the main intermediary between the client and the media team. Essentially, it keeps all communication and logistics in check during a production from beginning to end.
Responsibilities
– Scout, source and create deals for locations via local landscape, home rentals (Airbnb), and other locational requests made – from the clients (coffee shop, gym, office, etc.)
– Source and schedule models and other talent for photography and video production.
– Prepare prop lists, source props and prepare props for photography and video production.
– Actively work on 10-20 projects at any given time.
– Make sure all projects assigned are following the delivery deadlines.
– Communication with clients on project status through all stages of production.
– Be a key communicator with the media team and client.
– Assist media team on calendar scheduling for projects.
– Assist the media team in creating the scope of work.
– Assist media team in media production when overflow and bandwidth calls for it.
– Lastly, ensuring our client’s satisfaction.
Key Experiences
– Have excellent time management and organizational skills.
– Excel at verbal and written communication in addition to interpersonal skills.
– Previous experience with project management software(s).
– Experience in organizing and motivating a project team; keeping everyone on task and motivated.
– Have experience managing a project from resource planning, organizing, cost setting, progress monitoring and project delivery.
– Speaks fluent English.
Requirements
This person should be motivated and driven, in addition to have a sense of ownership over this position. They must have a strong understanding of the entire media production process, as it relates to the “photography” and “video production” industry as a whole. They should be able to work effortlessly with the in-house production team on all aspects of the project and be a solutions oriented individual when projects get deviated and require remedies. Overall, project management will be the daily focus for this position and having past experiences managing a project from beginning to end, with both internal and client/customer communication is a must. This individual will be interacting with the internal sales, media production, and executive team(s) to ensure the client has the best possible customer experience. This position is perfect for the individual who seeks to interact with amazing start-ups and global brands.
