Project Manager

Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and dynamic Project Manager to join our team, we are an innovative home decor e-commerce company. The Project Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing the successful execution of new product releases, existing product upgrades, and miscellaneous projects across various departments. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess excellent communication skills, and have a strong track record of managing cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

1. New Product Releases:
– Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of new product releases from conception to launch.
– Coordinate with product development teams to ensure timely production and inventory readiness.
– Collaborate with the marketing team to develop comprehensive launch strategies and promotional campaigns.
– Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful product launches.
2. Existing Product Upgrades:
– Identify opportunities for product enhancements based on market trends, customer feedback, and competitive analysis.
– Work closely with the product design teams to prioritize and implement product upgrades.
– Coordinate cross-functional efforts to execute product updates efficiently and effectively.
– Monitor post-release performance metrics and gather insights for continuous improvement.
3. Miscellaneous Projects:
– Take ownership of various ad-hoc projects that arise within the company, such as website optimizations, process improvements, or special initiatives.
– Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to define project scopes, objectives, and success criteria.
– Develop project plans, allocate resources, and manage timelines to ensure timely completion of projects.
– Communicate project status updates, risks, and dependencies to relevant stakeholders.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

– Work closely with multiple teams, including marketing, content, listing, product development, and design, to drive alignment and achieve project goals.
– Facilitate communication and foster a collaborative environment to ensure cross-functional teams are working towards common objectives.
– Serve as a central point of contact for project-related inquiries and escalations.

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in business administration, project management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
– Proven experience (5 years) in project management roles, preferably in e-commerce, retail, or consumer goods industries.
– Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
– Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
– Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
– Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with a track record of successfully leading cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.
– Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Asana, Jira, Trello), Microsoft Projects or Smartsheet.
