Project Manager Job Description

We are looking for an experienced project manager with a passion for web technologies and a history of impeccable project delivery. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of a new online learning platform from conception to completion, ensuring it is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

For this position, we expect you to be a tech-savvy professional with extensive experience successfully delivering complex projects within a global setup. You will use your excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with various teams including design, development, and content.

Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Management: Lead the planning and implementation of project initiatives. Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
Team Leadership: Direct and manage project development from beginning to end. Lead, coach, and motivate project team members and contractors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.
Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion. Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
Resource Management: Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals. Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
Quality Assurance: Ensure project outputs are of high quality, meet user requirements, and are delivered on time and within budget.
Risk Management: Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path. Plan and schedule project deliverables, goals, and milestones. Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.
Reporting and Documentation: Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations. Analyze and report project success criteria results, metrics, test and deployment management activities.

Requirements
Degree in business, computer science, project management, or related field.
At least 5 years of experience in project management, specifically in online or related fields.
Proven experience in people management, strategic planning, risk management, and change management.
Strong understanding of web technologies, UX/UI principles, digital trends, WordPress and learning management system experience is a plus.
Experience successfully delivering online platforms, in the training and education space is a plus.
Exceptional communication, leadership, team building, and problem-solving skills.
Proven ability to manage complex projects in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Asana, Trello).
PMP, Agile, or similar certification preferred.
