Job Description

I am looking for an enthusiastic, well-organized, assertive Executive Assistant/Project Manager for a large blogging community. This role is for a community that is a sister company of . I’d like you to look at the site and give me your first impressions.

You’ll have proven experience with project management, dealing with people online, an assertive personality, and the ability to be friendly and helpful but firm when needed.

The successful candidate will work with the company’s president, a lady who has high standards and expects quick and efficient assistants. You need to be a quick learner in this fast-paced environment, where you will be the point of contact for bloggers from around the world.

This is a long-term position. We want our team to grow with us, and for the right person, you’ll find a very supportive and friendly team around you.

The salary is $5 per hour, 40 hours per week. You’ll work in Eastern Standard Time from Monday to Friday. After a successful probationary period of 3 months, the salary will rise to $6. Full training will be provided.

It’s very important to me that the person be bright, enthusiastic, have excellent written English, and have a meticulous eye for detail. You will have experience with Slack and Google Sheets, and it would be helpful if you had experience or an understanding of the blogging community, although this can be learned.

You must be incredibly self-motivated, a quick learner who is thirsty for improvement and new skills and have an excellent attitude to work.

Send me your CV/resume and any supporting documents you feel strengthen your application. Do not send me a generic response that doesn’t address the points I’ve asked, and do not use AI (and I can spot AI a mile away). Under no circumstance should you be winking at me.

Tell me a little bit about yourself, what you think your strengths are, and why you think I should employ you. Also, make sure you add Pony in capital letters to the subject title; anyone who leaves this out will not be considered, no matter how good you are.

I look forward to hearing from you.
