Project Manager with Solar Backend Experience (Full-Time, U.S. Hours)

We are seeking a Project Manager with specialized experience in the solar energy sector to lead our projects from conception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in solar energy systems, project management, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

This full-time position requires working U.S. hours, offering the flexibility to collaborate with teams and stakeholders across different time zones.

Responsibilities:

1. Project Leadership: Lead solar energy projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and budget. Oversee all stages of project life cycles, from initial planning and design to implementation and completion.

2. Stakeholder Management: Serve as the main point of contact for project stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and internal teams. Ensure clear communication and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle.

3. Technical Expertise: Apply your in-depth knowledge of solar energy systems, including backend technologies and software, to guide project decisions, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the technical viability of projects.

4. Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project timelines and deliverables.

5. Resource Allocation: Efficiently allocate resources, including manpower, budget, and materials, ensuring optimal utilization for project success.

6. Quality Assurance: Maintain high-quality standards for all project deliverables, conducting regular reviews and implementing quality control processes.

7. Documentation: Keep comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, progress reports, and final reports, ensuring all project details are accurately recorded and accessible.

8. Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes and practices within the company, leveraging lessons learned and industry best practices.

Requirements:

1. Experience: At least 3 years in project management, with 1+ years in the solar energy sector (ideally in backend processes).

2. Solar Technical Knowledge: Understanding of solar systems, including PV technology, inverters, battery storage, and grid integration. Ideally familiar with solar backend systems such as performance monitoring and data analytics tools.

3. CRM Experience: Proficiency in using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.

4. Project Management Skills: Ability to manage multiple projects, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality. Proficiency in project management software and methodologies.

5. Analytical and Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with a proven track record in identifying issues and implementing effective solutions.
