Job Description

Overall Outcome: The first major objective for the Project Manager will be to lead the organization in achieving full automation of business operations, efficiently utilizing a skilled workforce. This includes setting up a project management software, such as Monday, to monitor and improve progress on all ongoing projects. The Project Manager will work closely with the team to streamline processes and establish Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as needed to optimize efficiency.

Once the initial automation stage is successfully achieved, the role of the Project Manager will transition into a more expansive focus, taking on the management of other Virtual Assistants (VAs) and leading the execution of new expansion projects. The Project Manager will play a crucial role in planning and implementing strategies to support the company’s growth and market expansion.

Responsibilities: The Project Manager will primarily focus on organizing and tracking the progress of projects within the company. Key duties will involve managing VAs and overseeing project execution.

Daily Tasks: Daily tasks for the Project Manager will include reviewing reports, setting up and managing the project management software, conducting check-ins with workers, and identifying areas for business efficiency improvements.

Qualifications: The ideal candidate for this role should possess a natural inclination towards organization and project management. They should be enthusiastic about automating business operations and driving further expansion.

Progress Checks: The progress of the Project Manager will be assessed by monitoring project completions, scheduling accountability meetings, and ensuring deadlines are met. Specific milestones will be established during project discussions and planning.

Reporting Structure: The Project Manager will be responsible for leading the overall operation, including salesmen, VAs, and the cleaning crew. While they won’t have direct communication with all team members, they will oversee and review the overall efficiency. The Project Manager will report to the company’s shareholders.

Training and Onboarding: The new hire will undergo a comprehensive onboarding process that includes an overview of the furniture reselling industry and an explanation of the current business situation. While basic project management skills are expected, additional resources will be provided to support their growth and efficiency in the role.

Resources and Support: The Project Manager will have access to a project management software tool to aid in tracking progress and managing projects. They can expect daily availability and close collaboration with the team during the initial automation phase. Weekly reviews will take place once the operation is streamlined.

Work Environment: The company culture emphasizes results, hustle, and efficiency. Continuous improvement and client-focused service are highly valued, as is effective communication and collaboration among team members.

Opportunities for Growth: The Project Manager will have numerous growth opportunities as the company expands its operations in Chicago and potentially in other markets.

Specific Expectations: Previous experience in project management is essential, and the ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate success stories from previous roles, especially related to business automation and team management.
