If so, we are looking for you as our new Proofreader/Quality Assurance Manager.
Helpful if you have experience transcribing video and creating captions!
QUALITY ASSURANCE WORKFLOW:
You will be responsible for ensuring that all creative (designs and video edits) exceeds standard before they go to the client. You are a critical part of customer satisfaction, and you’ll be involved in solving customer needs as well as working with the creative team to ensure things get done.
– Check all outputs to make sure that we followed task instructions, proper dimensions, spelling and grammar, and brand guidelines
– Edit transcriptions for readability, spelling, and grammar
– Answer client questions and communicate quickly and clearly
– Support the design and video editing team to ensure deadlines are met
– Provide creative feedback
– Track data in a spreadsheet
Our ideal candidate has previous experience as a Creative Quality Assurance/Proofreader and/or transcription experience, ideally at a creative or marketing agency, but this is not required. You will be fully trained on all aspects of the role.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
– Attention to detail – nothing gets by you
– Strong written communication in English and understanding of Grammar
– Ability to follow directions exactly
– Comfortable with using and creating Excel spreadsheets and tracking data
– Familiar or ability to learn software like Asana, Google Suite, Slack
– Hunger and ability to learn quickly
– Great team player with a good sense of humor and fun
– Disciplined and observes deadlines carefully
– Fully capable computer and internet set up with ideally a 4GB RAM computer and a 3mbps internet subscription
– Back up WiFi in case main source goes down
– Willing to collaborate and present ideas
