Proofreader/Editor for content written in English

Position: Proofreader and Editor (English & Journalism Expert)

Type: Full-time

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced team member with a background in English to join our team. As a Proofreader and Editor, you will be responsible for meticulously reviewing and enhancing various documents, including articles, blog posts, and other materials related to U.S. personal injury law. The ideal candidate should have a college/university education with a degree in english or journalism, and possess exceptional English language skills, including spelling, punctuation, and grammar.

Responsibilities:

Thoroughly proofread and edit documents to ensure accuracy and clarity in content.
Review articles, blog posts, and other legal materials to maintain consistent writing style and adherence to grammar rules.
Collaborate with content creators to enhance the overall quality of the written materials.
Maintain a high level of attention to detail while working on a high volume of documents in a reasonable timeframe.
Familiarize yourself with U.S. personal injury law terminology and concepts to ensure accurate editing and contextual understanding.

Requirements:

College/university education with a degree in English or Journalism.
Strong command of the English language, both written and verbal.
Proven experience as an English teacher or in a similar editorial role.
Excellent spelling, punctuation, and grammar skills.
Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
Proficient in using proofreading and editing tools.
A passion for maintaining top-notch writing standards and producing error-free content.
Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and a strong team player.
