Position Overview
This role is centered on the effective management of short-term rental properties, with additional duties relating to the company’s long-term rental portfolio as necessary. The Property Management Assistant is expected to be proficient with Airbnb, VRBO, and RentFaster, managing listings, coordinating bookings, and ensuring accurate advertisement and communication. A key aspect of the role involves troubleshooting issues, coordinating with site teams, and maintaining a high standard of guest satisfaction.

Minimum Qualifications
Experience in property management, with a focus on short-term rentals and familiarity with Airbnb, VRBO, and RentFaster.
Proficiency in utilizing property management and organizational tools (e.g., Turno, Hostfully, ).
Excellent communication skills in English, capable of effective interaction with guests, applicants, and service providers.
Ability to work remotely in alignment with Canadian Eastern Time (ET) and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
Demonstrated organizational skills with the capacity to prioritize competing demands.

Preferred Qualifications
In-depth understanding of the short-term rental market and proficiency in managing listings and bookings across multiple platforms.
Proven track record in coordinating with cleaning/maintenance teams and troubleshooting guest issues.
Experience working with site teams and enhancing operational processes for both short-term and long-term rentals.

Duties & Responsibilities
Manage and optimize property listings on Airbnb, VRBO, and RentFaster, including posting ads, updating property information, and responding to inquiries.
Coordinate booking schedules across platforms using property management software (e.g., Hostfully) to ensure a seamless experience for guests and owners.
Schedule and liaise with cleaning and maintenance teams using Turno, guaranteeing properties are prepared to high standards for guest arrivals.
Engage directly with guests on Airbnb and VRBO, providing support, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring a positive rental experience.
Respond to and coordinate with rental applicants on RentFaster, facilitating the application process for long-term rentals.
Work closely with site teams to address operational needs, communicate property statuses, and implement improvements.
Proactively identify and resolve issues, maintaining high satisfaction levels among guests and property owners.
