We are looking for a Leasing Coordinator to work with our team. The qualified applicant will communicate with property owners to determine monthly rental price, review the move-in inspection and gather property information for posting on the MLS. This person will also interact with potential tenant applicants to coordinate available property showings, and ensure all steps of the application process are taken care of to ensure a smooth move-in.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Research comparable properties in the area to accurately determine a rental price
• Verify marketing material with the owner and update any property description information
• Post properties to the MLS once rental price, photos and description are confirmed
• Respond quickly to all leads and follow-up with voicemail or email if needed
• Record any potential tenant feedback and recommend additional properties if needed
• Lead the application process after qualified tenants are identified
• Ensure security deposits are coordinated and received in a timely fashion
• Compose property leases and create addendums if necessary
• Manage HOA application process
• Apply all leasing fees to the tenant’s ledger
• Coordinate utilities process by turning them off / on by the move-in date
• Ensure check-list is completed before tenant can move in (utility account numbers collected, first month’s rent paid, signed lease and HOA approval received)
• Manage tenant move-in process and introduce them to their Assistant Property Manager contact
