Property Management Part Time Position – Experience required
Background:
Our Family Real estate business who is located in Boston, MA is looking for a part time property manager. Starting immediately.
We currently have 10 Units spread across Boston metropolitan area.
Responsibilities:
A property manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and management of real estate properties on behalf of the property owner or management company.
Tenant Relations: The property manager is responsible for finding and screening prospective tenants along with our local realtor.
Handling lease agreements & Lease Renewals, collecting rent, and addressing tenant concerns or complaints. They may also handle evictions, and tenant move-outs / Move ins.
Property Maintenance: The property manager ensures that the property is well-maintained and in good condition. They coordinate repairs, maintenance, and inspections, and may oversee the work of maintenance staff or contractors. They also schedule regular maintenance tasks such as landscaping, cleaning, and snow removal.
Financial Management: Property managers handle the financial aspects of property management. Track income and expenses and provide financial reports to the property owner or management company. They may also handle property taxes, insurance, and utility payments. All the above will be recorded in our property management software.
Legal Compliance: Property managers must ensure that the property complies with local, state, and federal laws and regulations. This includes staying up to date with housing laws, fair housing regulations, health and safety codes, and any other applicable legal requirements.
Record Keeping: Property managers maintain accurate records related to the property, including tenant information, lease agreements, financial documents, maintenance records, and correspondence. These records are important for legal, financial, and operational purposes.
Communication and Customer Service: Property managers serve as the main point of contact for tenants. You must communicate effectively and provide excellent customer service, addressing inquiries, concerns, and requests in a timely and professional manner.
Market Analysis and Rent Setting: Property managers monitor local rental market trends, conduct market analysis, and set appropriate rental rates for the property. This involves considering factors such as location, property condition, amenities, and market demand.

Base Salary for the first 60 days Trial: $200
Post 60 Days: $350
