The role of the Property Management VA is to provide timely support to the property management team. This role is responsible for managing the day-to-day tasks of property rentals and acquisitions.
The Property Management VA is responsible for a variety of tasks, most of which are listed below. However, the roles required for this position will be added to over time. Flexibility is essential for optimum performance.

On most days, the Property Management VA will:
Check resident portals and office line for messages and requests
-Reply to messages and requests in a timely manner
-Return phone calls and text messages in a timely manner
-Schedule maintenance and repairs with preferred vendors in
accordance with the tenant’s availability
-Escalate issues to management as needed
Manage the Vacant Properties Process
-Turn on/off utilities
-Ensure a lockbox is on the property and the code for access is documented
-Schedule/obtain pictures of the property for listings
-List vacant properties for rent
-Manage messages and phone calls from potential tenants. Answer questions. Schedule showings in accordance to the listing agent’s availability
Manage the Leasing Process
-With approval from the listing agent, send applications
-With approval from management, approve and deny applicants
-With approval from management, send and process leases
-Onboard new tenants
Maintain KPIs and Data
-Fill out various reports on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis
-Have a good understanding of company goals and continually work toward obtaining them
Be Available for Varying Tasks
-The ideal Property Management VA would be willing to grow with the position and take on more responsibility in the property management field
-Someone with previous experience that is flexible to new processes and procedures and eager to learn would be ideal for this position
-Timeliness is key for success and growth
-Must be able to juggle multiple tasks on a daily basis. A strong sense of time management and organizational skills are a must for success in this position
-The Property Mangement VA will meet with management multiple times per week for progress updates and ongoing training and support
Position Details:
This is a full time position. We expect the team member hired for this position to be fully focused on this job and available during work hours (9am-5pm CST, Mon-Fri)
This position requires daily communication with tenants and vendors via phone calls, emails, and text messages. The right person for this position will be comfortable communicating in English through all modes of contact.

Additional Requirements:
-customer service skills and experience are a MUST
-Intermediate Microsoft Office skills required
-Adobe Sign / electronic signature experience a huge plus
-property management experience not required but is a huge plus
-relatable experience is preferred
