Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of our properties, ensuring a seamless experience for tenants and a profitable, well-maintained environment for property owners. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a strong background in property management, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing top-notch customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
– Manage and oversee operations, maintenance, administration, and improvement of residential, commercial, or industrial properties.
– Plan, schedule, and coordinate general maintenance, major repairs, and remodeling or construction projects for commercial or residential properties.
– Direct collection of monthly assessments, rental fees, and deposits and payment of insurance premiums, taxes, and incurred operating expenses.
– Inspect grounds, facilities, and equipment routinely to determine the necessity of repairs or maintenance.
– Meet with prospective tenants to show properties, explain terms of occupancy, and provide information about local areas.
– Negotiate contracts for janitorial, security, landscaping, trash removal, and other services.
– Monitor performance of contractors and investigate and resolve complaints from residents and tenants when services are not properly provided.
– Maintain records of sales, rental or usage activity, special permits issued, maintenance and operating costs, or property availability.
– Conduct pro-active marketing and promotion measures.
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field.
– Minimum of 2 to 4 years of experience in property management or a similar role.
– Strong understanding of property management principles and real estate laws.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to interact effectively with tenants, vendors, and team members.
– Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
– Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
