This position will serve as an Executive Assistant to an entrepreneur …this position will oversee a small real estate portfolio, but also assist with community work and personal tasks.

The position’s hours are flexible and is fully remote, but will be required to be available from 8 AM – 5 PM CST and very occasionally after hours.
The real estate portfolio tasks will initially include:
Research, interview, and manage property managers, contractors, and partner businesses; analyze trends and key performance indicators (KPIs) + create and implement strategies to meet KPIs; fill out various reports on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis; assist with record keeping & bookkeeping; and setting up systems & processes; among other tasks. Upon demonstrated success, additional projects could include: researching and expanding purchases in new markets, overseeing development of new units, and other growth opportunities.
Executive assistant tasks will initially include:
Replying to email on owner’s behalf, managing the calendar, booking travel and appointments, and researching and making recommendations, among other tasks.
In all projects and tasks, the candidate will have a good understanding of company goals and continually work toward obtaining them.
The ideal candidate will be willing to grow with the position and take on more responsibility in all fields. Someone with previous experience in property management or similar project management that is a fast learner would be ideal. Must be able to juggle multiple tasks on a daily basis. A strong sense of time management and organizational skills are a must for success in this position.

This position will require excellent English speaking and writing. Must be proficient at Excel, Microsoft Office, and pdf editing. The chosen candidate takes initiative, is a self-starter, problem-solver, offers solutions, and does not let anything fall between the cracks. The ideal candidate is already employed. The position requires a longer-term commitment – a minimum of one year, but preferred three to five years.
Pay is dependent on the candidate, experience, and value-add. Bonuses may also be available based on performance.
This is an independent contract position. You are responsible for filing your taxes. This position requires a multi-step hiring process conducted over the course of several weeks.
