Pay is $800 base salary a month plus bonuses based on performance. Base salary paid weekly via Transferwise or other electronic payment method.
We are a small California property management company that has been in business for 20+ years. We manage mostly affordable basic apartments and one AIRB&B in Southern California . We are looking to hire an experienced full time property manager for the long term and will provide detailed training materials and help you. This is a stable, safe, long term job that you could have forever if you work hard and do a good job. Promotions and bonuses will be given after 9-12 months of working with us. You provide computer or laptop and fast stable internet with back up internet/power and we will provide you with a web-based virtual phone number (go to app), email and anything else that you need.
Your daily duties will include:
(1) advertising the various apartments that are available on various websites and social media platforms every day and emailing us links to the live ads that you have confirmed are accurate and live and can be found by prospective tenant.
(2) promptly answering calls, texts and emails from prospective tenants using scheduling software to contact everyone on the entire list (generally at least 120 leads per day) to come see the apartments at the next available showing and to apply to rent the apartment. This requires following up with the best prospective tenants to encourage them to come to see the apartment and calling and texting them after they have seen the apartment and encouraging/convincing them to apply to rent the apartment they have seen. You must answer the prospective tenants’ questions, make them feel comfortable and convince them to both come to see the apartment and to apply to rent the apartment.
(3) promptly answering calls, text and emails from current tenants at a property we manage and helping with needed repairs or complaints.
(4) scheduling repairmen, plumbers, handymen etc. to perform the repairs and making sure the repairs are completed and the current tenants are happy and accurately record all maintenance requests received by current tenants using Yardi software. You must take responsibility for the repairs that need to be done and make sure they are completed and tenant is happy. We will help and support you.
(5) help with various other tasks as needed like preparing lease documents, sending letters to tenants, finding handymen and appliances.

1. Speak and write English proficiently like a native English speaker. Having an accent is fine but you must be able to communicate clearly and proficiently.
2. You MUST be 100% available and responsive Monday – Saturday 9am-6pm PST and answer calls, texts and emails received.
3. Bachelors degree and at least one year of real estate property management experience.
4. You have the experience and the technical ability to post various ads online in the U.S. on sites like Yardi, Zillow, Instagram, Facebook, Marketplace, Craigslist, and various other websites, find new and better places and ways to advertise and create new accounts when needed.
5. You have a strong reliable internet connection (at least 50MBS download and 20MBS upload) and a backup power and internet connection in case something happens to your other internet or power connection. Your internet being fast and stable and working 24/7 is essential. Without it, you cannot do your job!
6. Must have a positive attitude, an honest and sincere desire to help people, good customer service, be extremely reliable, responsive and a critical thinker with common sense.
