Job Description:
As a Proposal/ Bid Manager at Dillon Morgan Consulting, you will play a crucial role in managing the end-to-end bidding process, ensuring the successful delivery of competitive and high-quality bids to our clients. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and subject matter experts, to develop winning strategies and proposals that align with our clients’ needs and objectives. This role requires excellent project management skills, strong business acumen, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Responsibilities:
Lead the Proposal/ bid management process:
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand client requirements and develop bid strategies.
Manage and coordinate all aspects of the bidding process, from the initial assessment to final submission.
Ensure compliance with all proposal requirements and deadlines.
Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues that may impact bid success.
Develop compelling proposals:
Conduct thorough research and analysis to gather information about the client, industry, and competitors.
Create persuasive and tailored bid documents that effectively communicate our value proposition and differentiation.
Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather technical information and incorporate it into the proposals.
Proofread, edit, and format bid documents to ensure accuracy, consistency, and professionalism.
Project manage bid submissions:
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather required information and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
Facilitate and lead bid review meetings to gather feedback and address any concerns or questions.
Oversee the finalization and submission of bids, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
Maintain accurate records of bid activities, including documentation and reporting.
Improve bid management processes:
Continuously evaluate and refine bid management processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and standardization.
Develop and maintain a repository of reusable bid content, templates, and best practices.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
Proven experience in Proposal/ bid management, proposal development, or a similar role.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple bids concurrently.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
Sound understanding of business development and sales processes.
Familiarity with industry-standard proposal management methodologies and tools.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
