Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Proposal Writer to join our dynamic team. As a Proposal Writer, you will be integral to our business development efforts, crafting compelling proposals that highlight our expertise in the construction industry. Your role will support our goal to secure new projects and maintain our reputation as a leader in construction services.

Responsibilities:
-Develop and write high-quality proposals that effectively communicate our construction services, capabilities, and value proposition.
-Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information and ensure accuracy in technical descriptions and offerings.
-Analyze RFPs (Requests for Proposal), RFIs (Requests for Information), and RFQs (Requests for Quotation) to understand client requirements and align our submissions accordingly.
-Maintain and update a database of standard proposal documents, including qualifications, bios, and project descriptions, ensuring they are current and relevant.
-Edit and proofread proposals for clarity, grammatical accuracy, and alignment with company branding.
-Manage the proposal submission process to ensure deadlines are met.
-Conduct post-submission follow-up and participate in presentations to prospective clients as needed.
-Stay informed of industry trends and changes to enhance proposal quality and competitiveness.

Qualifications:
-Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Marketing, Construction Management, or a related field.
-Minimum of 3 years of experience in proposal writing within the construction industry, preferably in the U.S. market.
-Strong understanding of the construction industry’s technical concepts and terminology.
-Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen attention to detail.
-Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
-Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with proposal management software.
-Strong organizational and project management skills.
-Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:
-Experience with graphic design software to enhance the visual appeal of proposals.
-Knowledge of federal, state, and local government procurement processes and regulations.
