Position Available: Virtual Assistant in Mental Health Agency

Location: Remote (Eastern Standard Time)

Schedule: Full-time, 30-40 hours per week (9 AM – 6 PM, Monday – Friday)

Are you experienced in the mental health field, especially with provider insurance contracting and credentialing? Our mental health agency is seeking a dedicated Virtual Assistant who is familiar with the dynamics of mental health services. This role requires someone who can efficiently handle provider and agency contracting and credentialing, ensuring our providers are seamlessly enrolled with insurance companies—a crucial aspect of our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Provider Contracting and Credentialing: Serve as the primary point of contact for all matters related to provider insurance contracting and credentialing. This is a vital part of your role, although it will occupy only several hours each week.

Front Desk Support: Collaborate with front desk staff in managing insurance prequalification and verification for our patients. You will also be involved in coordinating with patients and insurance companies about insurance plans and payments.

Provider and Patient Support: Assist in patient scheduling and provide general support to providers. You will work closely with team members Lauri, Josh, and Ariel, helping to maintain smooth day-to-day operations at the front desk.

How We Work: We work as a collaborative team through video conferencing. You will be required to have the necessary equipment and Internet service to work with our robust team through video counseling during normal business hours. yes, you’ll be online and face-to-face with your coworkers during your working shift.
