This is a permanent work-from-home position at a fast-growing e-commerce company. We are looking for a tech-savvy Purchase Order Generation Admin to help with our growth initiatives. Strong communication skills and data analytics capabilities are required to collaborate with cross-functional teams. This position will be under our Forecasting Team and the person will report directly to the Technical Program Manager.

– Salary: $6 – $9 an hour (depending on experience)
Day to day Position Responsibilities:
– Maintain, add and update supplier pricelists to in-house software database
– Download Generated Purchase Order (GPO) from the system
– Validate the information by performing quality checks in the GPO
– Format the data, prepare and assign to Purchasing Team
– Monitor and update Purchase Planning based on Forecasting
– Support the Technical Program Manager with any task or need at the moment
– Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
– Participate fully and promptly to team meetings
– Support the Technical Program Manager on projects needing priority and other ad hoc tasks that may be assigned from time to time
Experience and Qualities we look for:
– Able to demonstrate with 2 to 3 years Purchasing and Forecasting experience
– Able to demonstrate with 2 to 3 years experience creating/processing purchase orders
– Able to demonstrate with 2 to 3 years technical experience using ERP system (NetSuite, etc.)
– Able to demonstrate with 2 to 3 years PO/data management experience
– Self-motivated, organized and able to work with little to no supervision
– Able to multitask and manage daily tasks effectively to maximize productivity
– Ability to build strong relationships at all levels throughout an organization in a collaborative and multicultural environment
– Experience working on various projects and growth initiatives
– Responsive, prompt and positively communicates with peers using avenues such as email, group chat or other messaging platform
– Possess rigorous attention to detail and impeccable work ethics
– Able to work in the Eastern Standard Time Zone (UTC-05:00)
– Has a conducive work-from-home setup and a stable internet connection
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills
– Basic Advanced Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets User
– Comfortable using MS Excel and Google Sheets all day
– Familiarity with online meeting applications like Google Meets and Zoom
Bonus points:
– E-commerce experience (Amazon, Ebay, Walmart, Etsy, Shopify, etc.)
– Familiarity with Slack, Hubstaff and Google Suite
– Previous work experience in supply chain, purchasing, logistics is a PLUS
– Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or any technical-related courses
