Position: Purchasing Analyst
Overview: As a Purchasing Analyst, you play a pivotal role in procurement by collaborating with established suppliers and strategically sourcing products aligned with the company’s sales criteria on Amazon. This role is instrumental in expanding our retail product catalog. The successful candidate has the opportunity to increase their earnings through uncapped bonuses and grow within the company as the purchasing team expands.
Starting on day one the successful candidate will be fully trained by the company and provided with a three month plan that includes specific KPIs to achieve. If the first quarter is successful and KPIs are achieved the analyst will receive a bonus and continued employment. If the plan is not successful we may part ways. This is a high performance role and we will provide all the tools and training needed to succeed.
Compensation: This is an hourly position offering an opportunity for quarterly bonuses based on exemplary performance sourcing profitable products. Bonuses are not capped. Outstanding performance will be rewarded accordingly.
Responsibilities:
– Conduct research on our supplier catalogs, analyzing products to determine their alignment with our profitability and sales criteria on Amazon.
– Utilize company-provided training and tools to efficiently analyze a large volume of products.
– Spearhead expansion of our Amazon product catalog by identifying and onboarding high-volume, profitable products.
Report regularly on products you propose the company add to its Amazon retail catalog. Reporting will be done through company provided templates and tools.
Education & Qualification Requirements:
– Proficiency in Google Sheets, Docs, and basic workspace tools.
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
– Proficiency in team communication tools such as Slack or Discord.
– Familiarity with Amazon analysis tools like Selleramp, Junglescout, and similar platforms is advantageous.
– Experience in a similar role within purchasing analysis or product sourcing is a plus.
– Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
– Excellent communication skills and the capacity to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external suppliers.
– Detail-oriented with a focus on optimizing product assortment for sales growth.
