Job Title: Purchasing and Sourcing Manager

Shieldeck is a dynamic and growing ecommerce brand specializing in innovative pest control solutions, including UV flying insect traps and sticky paper traps for moths and roaches. As we expand our product offerings and streamline our operations, we are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Purchasing and Sourcing Manager to join our team.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Supplier Research: Identify and evaluate suppliers in China and the USA through platforms like Alibaba and Google to ensure quality and competitive pricing.
2. Product Research: Conduct thorough research on Amazon to benchmark existing products and identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
3, Communication Management: Maintain effective communication with suppliers and partners via WeChat, email, and Alibaba to ensure clarity and progress in all transactions.
4. Competitor Analysis: Research competitors’ formulas and specifications to help guide product development and positioning.
Purchase Order Management: Create and organize purchase orders, ensuring all details are accurate and on schedule.
5. Logistics Oversight: Track purchases and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and compliance with specifications.
6. Quality Assurance: Coordinate with inspection companies to conduct product quality assessments and report findings.
Reporting: Regularly update management on sourcing strategies, potential supplier issues, and overall progress.
Qualifications:
– Proven experience in purchasing and sourcing within a related industry, preferably in ecommerce or pest control products.
– Strong analytical skills and proficiency in market research.
-Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
– Familiarity with international trade and shipping logistics.
– Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
– Proficient in English and Mandarin (preferred).
