**About the Project:**
We are seeking a talented Python developer for a web scraping project, essential for a PhD research in Real Estate Finance. The project involves collecting data from Swiss real estate online platforms, due to the absence of an official database for rents or asking prices in the Swiss market.

**Key Responsibilities:**
– Develop and maintain a web scraper in Python to collect data from specified real estate websites, primarily focusing on ‘emoscout24’.
– Extract data points such as location (zip code, city, region), coordinates, living space, selling price, property title, property description, and amenities.
– Ensure the scraper runs multiple times per day to capture all listings, as the website limits the number of pages displayed.
– Address and manage challenges like varying listing formats, duplicate entries, CAPTCHA, and IP blocks.
– Implement a solution for deployment in the cloud with scheduling capabilities.
– Regularly update and adjust the scraper to accommodate any changes in website layouts or structures.

**Qualifications:**
– Strong proficiency in Python and experience in web scraping.
– Familiarity with cloud computing and scheduling tasks.
– Ability to handle IP rotation and bypass CAPTCHA.
– Experience in handling and processing large datasets.
– Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

**Preferred:**
– Background in data science or related fields.
– Experience with real estate data or similar projects.
