Python Flask App Developer

We are a dynamic company seeking a skilled Python Flask App Developer to assist in deploying our newly developed Flask application to a server. We have built a robust application using Python, Flask, and SQLite, and we’re now ready for deployment. We need someone who can recommend the best practices and execute the deployment efficiently.

Tasks and Responsibilities:
* Assess the current Flask application and database setup.
* Recommend the best deployment strategies for our Flask app considering scalability, security, and cost-efficiency.
* Deploy the Flask application to a suitable server environment (Heroku, VPS, AWS, or other platforms).
* Configure and manage the server environment for optimal performance.
* Ensure the deployment process is documented and easily replicable for future updates.
* Provide post-deployment support and troubleshooting as needed.
* Collaborate with our developer to ensure a smooth transition to the production environment.
* Implement payment processing capabilities into the Flask app, ensuring secure and efficient handling of transactions.

Skills and Qualifications:
* Proven experience in deploying Python Flask applications to production environments.
* Strong knowledge of different hosting solutions including Heroku, VPS, AWS, and other cloud platforms.
* Proficiency in server management and configuration.
* Familiarity with SQLite and experience with database management.
* Ability to recommend best practices for security, performance, and scalability.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Strong communication skills to work effectively with our development team.
* Experience in building and deploying SaaS applications is highly preferred.
* Experience with containerization technologies like Docker.
* Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
* Experience with integrating payment gateways (e.g., Stripe, PayPal) into web applications.
* Previous experience in providing technical support and troubleshooting for deployed applications.

Salary:
* Project basis or Part-Time. Negotiable based on experience. Please share your rates on a project or hourly basis.
