Python programmer for web scraping

I run a small software company, that delivers software products in the automation industry (scrapers, bots, scripts). I’ve grown a lot recently and cannot handle product fulfillment alone because there are only so many hours in a day. I am looking for a person who will handle some/all of the projects so I can focus on the company’s growth.

The projects I take are relatively similar and fall into 2 categories – Windows desktop software and web applications.

I am looking for someone I can trust and who is eager to learn the ropes. Aside from the payments you will receive a lot of education from me in the field that cannot be found anywhere (10+ years in this business).

Requirements:
-Python experience is a must and is not negotiable. The more the merrier.
-Experience with data extraction/scraping using Python.
-Experience with requests and Selenium Python packages
-Good English – bonus points if you can take calls, chat-only is okay though.
-Willingness to invest your time and energy in this adventure.
-Basic Git/GitHub knowledge
-Understanding of SQL and queries

Nice to have’s:
-Experience with Tkinter/Customtkinter/Nicegui Python packages
-Basic knowledge of how proxies work and how to implement them with Python
-Experience with Python multithreading/multiprocessing
-Google Cloud Run/Google Cloud Functions
-Firebase(Firestore mostly)

I realize that the software stack I am using is quite uncommon and I will fill the gaps if you don’t understand how to work with Firestore for example.

All the projects I deliver are entirely written in Python(backend and frontend). The most challenging part of this position is not the programming knowledge(Python, libraries, database structure), but the logic(software design) – which is going to be handled by me in the beginning.

The position is hourly based for the time being with the option to become full-time if I find the right candidate. Payment is $5-25/hour depending on your experience with the requirements. Looking for 10-40 hours/week.
