Job Description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Duties and Responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned):

Primary Responsibilities

• Review and validates requirement and technical specifications
• Develop and execute test plans and detailed test cases based on requirements and/or customer feedback and prioritization
• Document results; offer observations or improvements after analysis of test results and overall product quality
• Collaborate with the development team on bug fix verification and validation (regression testing)
• Communicate professionally at all levels within and outside of the organization
• Support, design, develop, and enhance test processes and reporting for QA processes
• Manage testing efforts across many varied projects and tasks under tight deadlines
• Mentor and provide training assistance to Associate QA Engineers

Essential Skills

• At least 3+ years of quality assurance experience in Agile Development environments
• Familiarity with Agile Software Development Methodologies
• Experience with web-based application testing (minimum 3+ years)
• Experience with integration testing between applications (minimum 3+ yr)
• Defines problems, collects data, establishes facts, draws valid conclusions, and provides solutions
• Identifies, communicates, and escalates issues as required
• A team player and self-starter who will work side by side with the development team
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize tasks, and quickly adjust in a rapidly changing environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Thorough working knowledge of software testing methodologies and the testing life cycle

• Ability to work independently with clients, proactive, and self-managed
• Solicitation and elicitation of client needs and requirements
• Project Management and Software Development Methodologies
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Familiarity with programming languages and SQL to allow for defect triaging and automation
• Familiarity with scripting languages used in test automation
• Scalability and performance testing
• A Bachelor’s degree in a computer-related field, engineering, mathematics, or equivalent experience
• Desire to learn new technologies

Education and Experience

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or equivalent and five to seven years of relevant project experience are required. Alternatively, an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
