Position Overview:
As an Experienced QA Automation Engineer at Qlivery, you will hold a pivotal role in upholding the quality and reliability of the software solutions we deliver to our clients. Your expertise will drive the design, development, and execution of automated testing strategies across Functional, Performance, and Security testing domains. This role presents an exciting opportunity to collaborate closely with clients and internal teams while employing cutting-edge automation techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

– Architect, develop and maintain robust automated testing frameworks, scripts, and tools tailored for Functional, Performance, and Security testing.
– Collaborate closely with QA analysts and client teams to deeply understand project requirements, translate them into comprehensive test plans, and execute automated test scripts effectively.
– Execute automated tests, analyze results, and expedite the identification of issues, providing actionable insights to the development and client teams.
– Integrate automated tests seamlessly into client projects and our continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines to ensure rapid and reliable feedback on code changes.
– Actively participate in code reviews and advocate for testability and automation best practices, fostering their integration into the software development process.
Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve issues reported across different testing phases, working collaboratively to identify root causes and suggest effective solutions.
– Remain current with industry-leading practices, tools, and technologies related to QA automation and innovative approaches to testing.
– Mentor and guide junior QA engineers, sharing best practices, coding standards, and overall testing strategies.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
5+ years of hands-on experience in QA automation, with a proven track record of designing and implementing robust automated testing solutions.
Proficiency in programming languages, e.g., Java, Python, Ruby], and experience with automation frameworks such as Cypress, Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Gatling, JMeter, etc.
Strong grasp of software development methodologies and QA processes, encompassing Agile, Scrum, and other industry-standard practices.
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Gitlab, Github) and CI/CD pipelines.
In-depth understanding of web and mobile application technologies, APIs, and database systems.
Exceptional problem-solving skills and unwavering attention to detail.
Outstanding communication and collaboration capabilities, thriving in cross-functional teams and client interactions.
ISTQB or equivalent QA certifications are an added advantage.
