We are seeking a talented and motivated QA / Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our digital asset brokerage platform by developing and improving automated test scripts, identifying and reporting issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve the overall product quality.

Responsibilities:
– Develop Automated Test Scripts: Create and maintain automated test scripts to ensure comprehensive test coverage and efficient regression testing.

– Test Planning and Execution: Design test cases based on business requirements and technical specifications.

– Continuous Integration: Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous testing and timely feedback.

– Collaboration: Work closely with developers, the product owner and stakeholders to understand requirements, provide feedback, and ensure the delivery of high-quality software.

– Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on the latest trends, tools, and best practices in software testing and automation. Continuously seek opportunities to improve the testing process and enhance test automation frameworks.

– Performance Testing: Improve our performance and load testing to ensure the platform’s scalability, reliability, and performance under various conditions.

– Security Testing: Perform security testing to identify vulnerabilities and ensure the platform is secure against potential threats.

Qualifications:
– Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

– Experience: Proven experience as a QA Engineer or Automation Engineer, preferably in a startup or agile environment.

– Technical Skills: Proficiency in test automation tools (e.g., Cypress, Jest), coding languages (e.g., TypeScript), and version control systems (e.g., Git).

– Methodologies: Strong understanding of software development and testing methodologies, including Agile and Scrum.

– Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.

– Communication: Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

– Performance and Security Testing: Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., Gatling) and security testing practices is a plus.
