Job Description:

Petsocare is seeking a meticulous and motivated QA Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our delivery platform and mobile applications. You will work closely with our development team to identify and resolve issues, implement testing strategies, and improve the overall user experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

– Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for web and mobile applications.
– Perform manual and automated testing to identify bugs and ensure the functionality and performance of our platform.
– Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and provide feedback on design and
implementation.
– Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies.
– Conduct regression testing to ensure resolved issues do not reoccur.
– Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on the quality and testability of code.
– Continuously improve testing processes and tools to enhance productivity and product quality.
– Work with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software releases.

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
– Proven experience as a QA Engineer or in a similar role.
– Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
– Experience with automated testing tools such as Selenium, Appium, or similar.
– Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
– Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
– Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
– Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and in a team environment.
– Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
– Passion for pets and a commitment to improving the pet care experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

– Experience in the pet tech or e-commerce industry.
– Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
– Knowledge of API testing and performance testing tools.
– Experience with version control systems such as Git.
