Role (Responsibilities):
Review and understand software requirements, functional specifications and other documentation
Create comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
Execute manual and/or automated test plans and interpret results
Document and report bugs and/or issues on JIRA for development teams to review
Contribute to continuous team improvement by optimizing QA processes
Ensure that the software being developed is test-driven (e.g. unit tests) by working closely with software developers
Prioritize, estimate, plan and coordinate day-to-day testing activities

What we ask of you (Tech Stack/Skills Needed):
Strong troubleshooting skills with attention to detail
Flexibility and adaptability to changing business needs and processes
Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, and Slack
Strong understanding of STLC and different types of testing
Strong experience running Manual and Automated Functional, System, and Regression tests
Strong background/experience in Test plan and Test Case creation, maintenance/management, execution, reporting
Strong work ethic and prioritization skills self-organized, highly proactive individual)
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Foundational background/experience in Scrum/Agile
Foundational background/experience working on ticket/issue tracking softwares (JIRA)
Foundational background/experience in Cloud Technologies (AWS, Azure, etc.)

The interview process
Our process consists of three interviews – a screening interview, a technical interview and a people and culture interview. We ask that you be on time to these meetings as people of significant importance to our business are taking time out of their day to meet with you. If you have ANY issues whats-so-ever, please let us know at least 2 hours in advance.
Our technical interview is oriented to your skill level, but it’s a good idea to understand a bit of background on our space (EG software engineering) before you participate, even if you are relatively new to it to demonstrate to us your passion for joining us.
