QA Engineer

At Pronexis we are concerned with connecting customers to in home service providers (Painters, pest control operators, plumbers, carpet cleaners, etc.) We have technology tools to help service providers generate leads, convert leads to customers, and manage customers for years down the road.

Position
Looking for an experienced QA Engineer to help organize and automate our software testing and help make our QA team more efficient. You’ll be working with a development team including a Project Manager, several developers and other QA and helpdesk support. We follow Agile practices and you will be required to attend a daily stand up meeting an other sprint planning and retrospective meetings. Our Product Owner and other stake holders are based in North America, but most of the development team is based in the Philippines. This is a full time position and we expect you to work 40 hours per week (maybe more when deadlines or circumstances dictate) but outside of the Scrum meetings you will be able to set your schedule.

Responsibilities
– Review and analyze requirements, specifications, and technical design documents, providing timely feedback
– Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans, test cases and documentation if needed
– Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
– Play the role of test engineer: Design, develop, and execute automated tests
– Identify and report issues found, then verify that issues are resolved
– Perform regression testing

Skills
– Work experience in software quality assurance
– Familiarity with SDLC
– Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
– Hands-on experience with automated testing tools
– Knowledge and experience of Zephyr Scale is required
– Keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence
– Be willing to help your teammates, share your knowledge with them, and learn from them
– Be open to receiving constructive feedback and turning it into process improvements
