As a QC Developer, you will be responsible for developing and ensuring the quality and performance of our Shopify custom stores, custom apps, and integrations. You will play a critical role in developing web pages, optimizing page speed, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring seamless functionality and design across all pages during and post development.

Responsibilities:
Shopify Custom Store QC:
Continuously perform and maintain comprehensive QC testing on Shopify custom stores.
Identify and troubleshoot issues related to store performance, design, and functionality.
Custom Page Development:
Ability to develop an end-to-end custom product template, page, or solution based on a given design.
Ensure the developed pages are fully functional, responsive, and meet design specifications.
Custom/Shopify Apps and Integrations:
Review and test custom and Shopify apps and integrations for functionality and compatibility.
Ensure seamless integration with Shopify and other third-party tools.
Page Speed Optimization:
Conduct thorough testing and optimization to improve page speed.
Troubleshoot and optimize for Core Web Vitals (LCP, INP, etc.) and Page Speed on both mobile and desktop clients.
Cross-Device and Resolution Testing:
Test new pages across different devices and resolutions.
Identify and resolve design and compatibility issues to ensure a seamless user experience.
Content Review:
Review new pages for issues from both a frontend design and backend code perspective (core web vitals, speed, compatibility, functionality, and code implementation).
Ensure all content meets quality standards and is aligned with design specifications.
Collaboration:
Work closely with developers, designers, and project managers to ensure seamless delivery of projects.
Provide clear and actionable feedback to the development team.
Security and Compliance:
Ensure all security and compliance policies are met and maintained to industry standards.
Conduct continuous reviews to keep security measures up to date and effective.
Industry Best Practices:
Ensure the Shopify store always follows best practices in Shopify development and e-commerce.
Stay updated with industry trends and continuously implement new best practices.
Keep the team informed about the latest industry developments and standards.
Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications are a plus.
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in QC and liquid development for Shopify custom stores.
Extensive experience with Shopify custom apps and app integrations.
Strong understanding of Shopify page speed optimization and Core Web Vitals.
Technical Skills:
Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, jQuery, Liquid, Shopify APIs, Shopify Custom Themes, Github, Shopify Apps, Custom App Development
Familiarity with frontend frameworks and tools.
Experience with backend code review and troubleshooting.
Analytical Skills:
Proficient in data analysis and interpretation, with the ability to use analytics tools and software to derive meaningful insights and make informed decisions.
Industry Knowledge:
Up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, technologies, and best practices in Shopify development and e-commerce.
Soft Skills:
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
