We seek a qualified accountant to work full-time with our Philippines and UK teams.

Experience working for a UK firm of Accountants would be advantageous.

Please note that you will also do some admin tasks related to accounts.

We seek long-term, reliable staff who want an exciting and challenging career.

We have a growing team with four Filipino members and ten in the UK.

Applicant must at least have the following:
– Accounting qualification e.g. CPA or equivalent
– Xero and/or QuickBooks certifications,
– Excellent written and spoken English is essential.

Your role includes, but is not limited to:
– Bookkeeping
– VAT returns
– Prepare year-end accounts and tax returns
– Onboarding new clients
– Calling HMRC for client-related concerns
– Emailing and calling clients on behalf of the UK team
– Client chasing for records – accounts, self-assessment, trust returns, CGT (Capital Gains Tax), etc
– Assist in creating and updating fee proposals
– Assist in doing TRS (Trust Registration Service)

Conditions and Benefits
– 100% WFH role (must have a suitable and quiet working space)

– 15 days paid holiday at your preference to use “when” during the year
You will work from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM UK Time (Monday through Friday). We may consider flexing your working hours, but there must be at least a five-hour overlap with the UK team’s working hours.
– You must have a fast, stable internet connection, with a modern laptop (including a second monitor)

Continue ongoing education by participating in courses, webinars, workshops, conferences, etc.

Salary
– Salary is reviewed biannually after completing your six-month probationary period
– Payment monthly via Wise
– Bonuses are provided for exceptional work
– Salary increases with performance and length of service.
