Quality analyst

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Analyst to join our team in the medical field. The successful candidate will be responsible for reading and analyzing medical progress notes to ensure compliance with medical item number billing. As a Quality Analyst, you will play a critical role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our billing practices and provide doctors with critical feedback to assist them to maintain regulatory compliance.
As required, this role will also assist our Documents handler inputting medical reports/correspondence into patient files.
Full training is provided.

Key Responsibilities:
– Review medical progress notes, and documentation to verify accuracy and completeness.
– Analyze medical item numbers billed against the provided documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
– Identify discrepancies, errors, or inconsistencies in billing documentation and escalate as necessary.
– Maintain thorough documentation of all findings and actions taken for auditing and reporting purposes.
– Input medical reports, results and correspondence directly into patient files, ensuring accurately identifying, coding the information to the correct file and recipient.

Requirements:
– Prior experience in medical billing, coding, or healthcare administration preferred.
– Strong understanding of medical terminology, procedures.
– Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
– Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace.
– Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
– Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
