**Job Description:**

Are you a detail-oriented Physical Therapist looking for an exciting opportunity to combine your expertise with quality assurance? We are seeking a skilled and motivated Quality Assurance Assistant with a background in Physical Therapy to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the highest standards of documentation and patient care within our organization.

**Responsibilities:**

– Audit and review notes submitted by therapists according to a specific rubric.
– Complete rubrics for each note, ensuring adherence to company standards and guidelines.
– Provide feedback to therapists on notes that require editing, holding them accountable for accurate and comprehensive documentation.
– Collaborate with therapists to ensure all necessary documentation is submitted promptly.
– Coordinate and send reviewed documentation to Primary Care Physician (PCP) offices.
– Review patient garment request orders, evaluating them against preset qualifications, and approve or deny requests as appropriate.
– Maintain accurate records of reviewed documentation and outcomes.
– Contribute to the continuous improvement of documentation and quality assurance processes.

**Qualifications:**

– Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy and a valid state license.
– Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
– Familiarity with medical documentation standards and practices.
– Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
– Proficient computer skills and experience with document management systems.

1. Describe your experience as a Physical Therapist and how it has prepared you for a role in quality assurance.
2. How familiar are you with documentation standards in the healthcare industry? Can you provide an example of a time when you identified and corrected documentation errors?
