Job Title: Quality Assurance Engineer for B2B E-commerce Platform
(Quality Assurance Specialist, Software Tester, QA Analyst, Software Quality Specialist)

Location: Remote (Asia or Europe time zones)

Employment Type: Part-time or Full-time (Minimum 3 days per week)

Key Responsibilities:
– Perform thorough manual testing of our web-based software.
– Develop and execute test cases, often by preparing content in our CMS.
– Validate the requirements of each ticket and identify missing edge cases.
– Communicate with developers to clarify functionality and use cases.
– Meticulously test developers’ work to swiftly identify bugs and design issues.
– Think “customer first” to ensure functionality beyond technical specifications.

Required Skills and Experience:
– At least 2 years of experience in Quality Assurance or a related field.
– Strong attention to detail and a customer-first mindset.
– Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
– Reliable, punctual, and honest with clear, on-point, and brief communication.
– Experience with test automation tools such as Playwright or Ghost Inspector is a plus.
– Familiarity with or similar technologies is a plus.

2. How do you approach testing a new feature when the specifications are not entirely clear?

4. What is your experience with test automation tools like Playwright or Ghost Inspector? Provide a specific example of how you used these tools in a project.
5. Explain a time when you had to test a large project, which requires extensive domain knowledge. How did you get up to speed quickly?
6. How do you handle discrepancies between user requirements and technical specifications?
