Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled, self-motivated, and detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to join our team. As a QA Engineer, you will play an important role in ensuring the quality and successful release preparations of our VAMOS and CRMBO Systems, which include standalone REST API services, web applications, and Java-based desktop applications. Your expertise in tools like Postman, CURL, Bamboo, and Bitbucket, along with your experience in working with Scrum, will be essential in delivering reliable and high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities:

Quality Assurance:

• Collaborate with the development team to understand project requirements and functionalities.

• Conduct thorough manual testing of the REST API standalone services, web applications, and Java-based desktop applications.

• Identify and report bugs, inconsistencies.

• Define areas for improvement.

• Assist in preparing and executing Release plans to ensure smooth and timely deployments.

Test Documentation:

• Create, maintain, and support comprehensive test documentation, including Test cases and Test plans for the Vamos services and CRMBO applications.

• Define and execute test scenarios, verifying application functionality against project specifications.

• Performing Release version regression testing and Sanity Production environment verification in accordance with defined Test plans.

• Work closely with the team to prioritize and address reported issues.

Test Automation and Tools:

• Utilize automation tools like Postman for VAMOS Rest API services to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of testing processes.

• Leverage CURL, Bamboo, and Bitbucket for streamlined integration and continuous testing.

• Collaborate with cross-functional Scrum teams to maintain a smooth development and testing process.

• Participate in Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Database and Technical Expertise:

• Demonstrate confident experience in working with SQL databases, particularly MsSQL and MySQL.

• Utilize SQL queries to perform data validation and verification during testing.

Additional Skills (desirable):

• Knowledge of JavaScript (JS), CSS, and HTML will be considered a plus.

• Familiarity with bash commands to execute tasks and automate processes.

• Ability to independently investigate issues by reading logs and identifying root causes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

• At least 4 years of experience in Manual QA roles, with a strong understanding of Software testing principles.

• Proven experience in testing web, desktop applications, and REST API services.

• Proficiency in using testing tools such as Postman and CURL.

• Experience in version control and deployment systems like Bamboo and Bitbucket usage.

• Proficiency in work with incomplete/missing Business requirements.

• Strong background in creating and maintaining effective Test documentation, including Test cases and Test plans.

· Solid knowledge of SQL, particularly with MsSQL and MySQL databases.

• Clear understanding of Client-Server architecture.

• Preferred understanding of JavaScript (JS), CSS, and HTML.

• Familiarity with Scrum methodologies and working in Agile development environments.

• Ability to use SSH, remote connect tools.

• Excellent analytical skills, independently issues root cause and issues consequences identification.

• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, both within the team and when working independently.

• Result- and Team-oriented personality.
