We seek an experienced bookkeeper who organizes key accounting records of our clients. You will maintain accurate records of accounts payable and receivable, payroll, daily financial entries, and reconciliations, daily accounting activities, such as recording payments and adjustments, general ledger entries, and monthly financial reporting. When the foundation is set, you can plan and hire a bookkeeping and accounting team to scale the accounting activities you started.
We seek somebody who can easily coordinate with our clients and ensure that all deliverables are met prior to the set deadlines. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
> Maintains records of financial transactions by establishing accounts; posting transactions; ensure legal requirements compliance
> Develops a system to account for financial transactions by establishing a chart of accounts; defining bookkeeping policies and procedures
> Maintains subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions
> Balances subsidiary accounts by reconciling entries
> Balances general ledger by preparing a trial balance; reconciling entries
> Prepare and present progress reports
> Maintains historical records by filing documents
> Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying requirements; enforcing adherence to requirements; filing reports; advising management on needed actions
> Must be knowledgeable in Google Drive, email, Gdocs, Gsheets, etc.
> Able to work with minimal supervision
> Performs other duties that may be assigned from time to time

Requirements and Qualifications:
> Quickbooks certified
> At least 2 years of experience in accounting and bookkeeping
> Knowledge of XERO, Quickbooks, Zoho, Fresh Books, or other applications
> Produce work with a high level of accuracy, and high attention to detail
> Proven track record in analyzing information and dealing with complexity
> Able and willing to work night shift (9 pm to 6 am your time) from Monday to Friday
