Established Executive Recruiting Firm Owner is on the lookout for a skilled QuickBooks Virtual Assistant with a specialization in bookkeeping and U.S. tax preparation. This role is pivotal for an entrepreneur grappling with the intricacies of managing both financial records and communications with U.S.A CPA. Our ideal candidate is someone who not only excels in accounting and bookkeeping but is also adept at navigating the complexities of tax preparation tasks. With a mix of personal and professional finances and pending tax Business and individual Tax filings, we need a detail-oriented professional to bring clarity and organization to our financial landscape. Our company, though small with just the owner and three contractors, has big aspirations and even bigger heart.

Responsibilities:

1. Utilize QuickBooks for the meticulous management and organization of financial documents, ensuring adherence to U.S. accounting standards.
2. Maintain clear and effective communication with U.S. accountants and bookkeepers to relay necessary information.
Spearhead tax preparation efforts, including the organization of back tax records and timely submission of current tax documents.
3. Accurately categorize expenses to facilitate tax and financial analysis.
4. Regularly update financial status, pinpointing and addressing any areas of concern.
5. Work in close partnership with the owner to ensure financial practices are perfectly aligned with the broader business objectives.

Requirements:

1. Proficiency in QuickBooks, backed by an in-depth understanding of its functionalities.
2. Proven experience in financial record-keeping, tax preparation, and a solid grasp of accounting principles.
3. Stellar communication skills, professional demeanor in all interactions.
4. An independent worker who thrives in a partnership setting, brings a positive, creative outlook to problem-solving.
5. Exceptional organizational abilities, with a keen eye for details and adept at prioritizing tasks efficiently.
6. Fluent in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills. Can instill confidence in others.

Preferences:

1. Demonstrated capability to decode complex accounting requirements and optimize tax deductions.
2. Previous experience collaborating with diverse accounting teams and navigating through challenging communication scenarios.

The entrepreneur enjoys a strong relationship with a CPA but has encountered challenges with the current bookkeeping setup. This role will be instrumental in bridging communication gaps, enhancing tax efficiency, and smoothing over any strained dynamics with the aim of forging a long-lasting professional relationship.
