Schedule: Flexible between 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM Eastern Time, 5 out of 7 days a week (Negotiable)

We are a dynamic and forward-thinking insurance agency seeking a Virtual Insurance Quoter to join our team. As a Virtual Insurance Quoting Specialist, you will play a crucial role in providing quotes based on data input by our prospective clients, from multiple carriers, facilitating effective communication with agents and supervisors, and supporting our team’s success in the insurance industry.
Job Description:
As a Virtual Insurance Quoting Specialist, your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Quoting Insurance Business:
Obtain accurate insurance quotes from a variety of insurance carriers. Share those quotes with the prospective client’s agent for review and distribution to the prospect.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of insurance products and underwriting guidelines.
2. Communication:
Communicate daily with agents and supervisors to ensure smooth operations.
Utilize group chats and other communication tools for efficient collaboration.
3. Customer Service:
Accept incoming calls from agents, addressing their inquiries, and providing assistance.
4. Team Collaboration:
Participate in regular weekly (at minimum) Zoom meetings to discuss updates, strategies, and goals.
5. Training and Development:
Participate in initial and ongoing training and development programs provided by the company.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in insurance quoting or related roles is a plus but not required. Training will be provided.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong customer service orientation.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Tech-savvy with proficiency in communication tools and software.
Must have a quiet and dedicated workspace for remote work.
Schedule:
The schedule is flexible, with up to 8 hours per day, between 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM Eastern Time.
5 out of 7 days a week, with negotiable days off.
Compensation:
Competitive hourly wage, commensurate with experience.
Opportunities for performance-based bonuses.
$400/mo starting. 30 day review up to 25% increase. 60 day review up to 15% increase. 90 day review up to 10% increase. Quarterly evaluations up to 5% increase. Additional bonuses may be offered as available.
