WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for a talented and driven entry-level React Developer with experience with Material UI to help design and implement intuitive user interfaces for our document management platform. The right individual will have a desire to learn and ability to work independently, while providing constant communications and updates on project status.
The position is fully remote.
RESPONSIBILITIES
– Design and develop innovative custom components tailored to meet project specifications.
– Maintain and enhance existing React codebases, including troubleshooting and resolving bugs.
– Research available libraries and provide detailed plans on how to complete project specifications.
– Provide constant communication on project status, ongoing issues, and suggested approaches to resolving issues.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILL SETS
– Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
– Solid knowledge of React and associated tools within the React ecosystem, such as and npm.
– An understanding of fundamental React principles, such as components, hooks, and the React lifecycle.
– Willingness to learn and effectively utilize Material UI, and similar component libraries. See: /material-ui/all-components/
– Ability to work independently with little supervision.
– Excellent communication skills, capable of succinctly reporting project status, current issues, and forthcoming steps.
– Proven ability to test and debug code effectively.
– Familiarity with essential programming tools, including Visual Studio Code, Git, GitLab, etc.
– Strong command of the English language, essential for effective communication in a professional setting.
USEFUL SKILLS
– Design experience with tools like Figma for translating concepts of UI/UX designs into visual representations.
HARDWARE REQUIREMENTS
– The individual must have their own computer and internet access.
