We, a German startup, are looking for a React front-end developer on a long-term basis in full-time (35-40 hours per week) for the independent realization of a project.
This will primarily involve working with the following technologies:

– Docker container based
– Web server: Apache
– Operating system: Ubuntu 22.04
You will work closely with our colleagues and participate in meetings via Skype or Teams on a regular basis (2x a week).
Project Description:
In this project you will act as a lead developer and accordingly you should have experience with the mentioned technologies. It is your task to develop a frontend system based on and possibly as a Docker container. The frontend will be modeled, designed and described with content by us.
Essentially, the frontend consists of a GUI, which is used to dynamically render elements based on data from the database. Based on this, API requests are sent to the GPT API (OpenAI) and processed. The responses are then stored in the database.
Furthermore, user management and settings also take place in the frontend, which subsequently need to be stored in a database via API calls.

– Ability to work independently
– Experience working with / and Tailwind CSS as well as Docker
– Experience working with identity providers such as Auth0
– Experience integrating with payment service providers (e.g. PayPal or Stripe)
– Experience in packaging as a PWA
– Good understanding of working with relational databases
– Experience in setting up and handling REST API calls including error codes and messages
– Ability to work in a team
– Competence to propose solutions
– Reliability and regular availability
– Knowledge in dealing with the previously mentioned technologies
Basically we work agile and tasks are distributed in small parts using a Trello board. Tasks are worked on in small sprints (1 week). At the end of the week there is a second meeting to discuss the progress.
