REGULAR TASKS:
– Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts to verify our airport communication software products’ functionality and performance
– Create and maintain automated testing frameworks and tools to increase efficiency and coverage
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality products
– Work closely with development teams to understand project requirements and specifications.
– Identify and report defects, working with development and product teams to resolve issues and provide recommendations for product improvement
– Identify and report defects and issues, and work collaboratively with development teams to resolve them.
– Continuously improve and optimize the QA process to ensure best practices and high-quality standards are met
– Mentor and provide guidance to junior QA engineers to ensure continuous professional development
– Participate in product design reviews, code reviews, and other quality assurance activities
– Develop and implement quality assurance policies, procedures, and standards for software development projects.
– Develop and maintain test environments and data for QA testing purposes
– Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies in QA and testing methodologies
SOME OF THE TOOLS WE USE REGULARLY:

– TeamCity experience, is a plus

PLEASE APPLY if you possess the following skills and attributes:
– 5+ years of experience in software QA, with at least 2 years in a senior/leadership role
— someone who has seen through the software development process from start to finish
— QA oriented, not a tester, not a developer
– Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, processes, and tools
– Experience with test automation frameworks and tools, such as Selenium, Appium, or similar
– Experience testing web applications, mobile applications, and back-end systems
– Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing life cycle (STLC) processes
– Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts
– Experience in Agile development methodologies and tools such as JIRA
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
– Experience with programming languages such as Java, JS, Python, or C#
– Experience with DevOps tools
– Experience with virtualization solutions such as Vmware or Hyper-v processes knowledge
– ISTQB or other industry-recognized software testing certification to demonstrate professional expertise.
– Bonus: Experience with hardware performance and media
