Job Title: REAL ESTATE | Accounting Assistant
Location: Remote – FULL TIME
Unicorn Role Overview: We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to play an integral role in the accounting process. As an Accounting Assistant, you will be responsible for keeping financial records current, preparing reports, and reconciling bank statements. You will use accounting software to process business transactions, including accounts payable and receivable, disbursements, expense vouchers, and receipts. Your strong accounting background and attention to detail will ensure daily accounting functions run effectively and efficiently.
What you’ll do:
Input invoices and bills into the accounting system.
Input new vendors and customers, ensuring accurate and complete information.
Ensure the accuracy of coding expenses and payments.
Assist with daily agent payments and posting deposits.
Assist with monthly agent invoicing.
Assist with monthly bank and credit card reconciliations.
Cross-train and assist with commercial and residential property management data entry and support.
Assist with daily bank deposits and ACH transactions.
Provide support for centralized services, agents, and staff.
Offer property management support as needed.
Assist with preparing monthly financial reports.
What you’ll bring:
Strong accounting background with experience in accounts receivable, accounts payable, bank reconciliations, and cash flow statements.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial record-keeping.
Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
