**JOB SUMMARY:**

We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join Alpine Companies. In this role, you will manage financial transactions, maintain records, and ensure financial accuracy in our real estate business. Ideal candidates have bookkeeping experience, proficiency in accounting software (Quickbooks), strong attention to detail, and contribute to our financial success in the real estate industry.

**QUALIFICATIONS:**

– A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
– Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or similar role, ideally within the real estate industry.
– Proficiency in accounting software (Quickbooks) and Microsoft 365.
– Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
– Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
– Excellent organizational and time management skills.
– Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
– Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
– Familiarity with real estate financial transactions is a plus.

**ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**

**Key Responsibilities:**

1. **Accounts Payable and Receivable:** Process invoices, payments, and receipts in a timely and accurate manner. Reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable.
2. **Bank Reconciliation:** Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure all transactions are recorded correctly and identify discrepancies.
3. **Expense Tracking:** Maintain detailed records of company expenses, including receipts and invoices. Track and categorize expenses accurately.
4. **Financial Reporting:** Generate financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, on a regular basis. Provide financial summaries to management.
5. **Budget Management:** Assist in the preparation and monitoring of budgets, ensuring compliance with financial goals and objectives.
6. **Record Maintenance:** Organize and maintain financial records and documents for audit purposes and historical reference.
7. **Vendor and Client Communication:** Communicate with vendors, suppliers, and clients regarding financial matters, inquiries, and payment schedules.
8. **Software Proficiency:** Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks Online, AppFolio, AppFolio Investment Manager, and Excel) to record and track financial transactions.

**SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS:**

– Owns a laptop or a desktop computer that can do basic research and operate social media and email platforms.
– Internet with at least 20mbps speed.

**WORKING CONDITIONS:**

Full-time, 40 hours a week with a 3-month probation period with a time tracker during the probation period.

**SALARY AND BENEFITS:**

$800.00 monthly. Then, 10 paid vacation leaves, and an HMO budget annually after the probation period.
