Ideal Candidate: The ideal candidate for this position is someone who is personal, confident speaking on the phone in English, and able to build rapport easily. This person has sales experience, preferably in the residential real estate market. The ideal candidate also has experience with a dialing system like ReadyMode, can take notes while talking on the phone, and is coachable.
Commitment: The commitment for this job is full time, 36 hours per week. Work hours are based on a US East Coast time Zone (GM-5). Typical work schedules: Monday – Thursday from 9am til 6pm (8r Work Day with one hour total break time each day). Friday and Weekends off!
Compensation: Flexible based upon experience: $3.50 – 5 USD per hour starting rate based on experience.

Position Overview:
The Cold Caller is an essential member of the Hughes Housing Team. By making calls to generate leads, Hughes Housing is able to provide a valuable service to homeowners by helping them achieve a low cost sales option and receive the best price for their home.
Our Cold Callers are most successful when they master the 4 Pillars:
? Building rapport
? Learning WHY homeowners are seeking to sell
? Identifying the homeowner’s acceptable price range
? Accurately assessing the condition of the home
Hughes Housing provides scripts and coaching to support Cold Callers in being successful.
Essential Skills & Dispositions:
? Highly Motivated. This is a great job for someone who is highly and wants to achieve results.
? Personable. This position speaks with people everyday. The ability to be personal, build rapport, and gain the trust of the homeowner is essential.
? Fluency in English.
? Highly organized. This position requires careful note taking to track calls made and the outcomes of those calls.
? Persistence. As a Cold Caller, there are many people who say ‘no’ on the way to finding people who say ‘yes.’ It is important to be persistent.
Preferred Previous Experience:
? Experience in the residential real estate industry.
? Experience with a dialing system.
? Knowledge of Excel.
? Cold calling experience a plus.
