– Coet Land is seeking a freelance Virtual Assistant to scrape and analyze real estate data from Zillow. The candidate will be evaluated solely based on their ability to accurately gather, process, and present data for specific zip codes. A test task will be given.

Job Description:
– Scrape Zillow listings for designated zip codes to find data on vacant land and mobile homes.
– Calculate the average price per acre for vacant land and the average price per square foot for mobile homes.
– Ensure data accuracy by considering geographic constraints of zip codes and removing any outliers and duplicates.

– You will be given a small list of zip codes to scrape and analyze.
– Present your findings in a structured and clear format, highlighting the average price per acre.
– Your presentation of the work will be used to assess your fit for the role.
– Scrape Zillow for both active and sold listings in the given zip codes, focusing on lots/land properties. Include “Pending” listings with the active listings.
– Ensure at least 15 comps/listings are collected for each zip code to form a robust dataset.

Test Task – Specific Criteria for Zillow Search:
– Zip Codes: 30014, 30025, 30506, 30523, 30620
– Property Type: Lots/Land
– Lot Size: 2-5 acres
– Sold in Last: 12 months

Test Task – Data Adjustment:
– If fewer than 15 comps are found within a zip code, adjust the search boundary. Imagine you’re using a camera to take a photo of a garden, but you only capture a few flowers. To get more flowers in the shot, you step back a little, not too much, just enough to see more flowers close to the first ones. That’s how you should expand the search area on Zillow.

Test Task – Data Cleaning:
– Remove outliers and duplicates from the dataset to ensure data accuracy.

Test Task – Calculation and Reporting:
– Calculate the average price per acre for each zip code based on the cleaned data.
– Present the data clearly and organized so I can easily copy and paste it into my mailer Excel files for pricing.
