Real Estate Map Analyst

Hello, thank you for taking the time to read my posting. A little about our company and what we are looking for: our company buys and sells vacant rural land across the US. We make blind offers sending direct mail to 10,000 recipients every month with an offer letter. To arrive at the list of people we mail to sell their land we must first gather their property data in our data mapping software and export our list to a direct mail vendor.

This position calls for a detail oriented person who has the patience to click through each property on our list or potential sellers and based on the training we will provide, decide whether to keep the property in the mailing list or remove it. We call this process “scrubbing the list” and we need to remove any property that does not have road access, sits in a flood zone, is too weirdly shaped plus a host of other defects. Typically on a raw list of 2500 properties we will remove as many as 30% or them.
Ideally the applicant for this position will have some experience with Excel or Google Sheets as well.

This work is easy but boring lol, and to go through a list of 3000 properties on a map takes approximately 4-5 hours of focused time with good internet connectivity. The software is called LandVision and not many people have used it but I will be able to provide live and recorded trainings so don’t worry there. The platform only allows one user at a time for our license so I need whomever takes this position to NOT be using Land Vision from 9am-8pm EDT which makes working hours in PH between 8am and 9pm. You can work on it any other time that suits you as long as we don’t overlap our usage. This platform requires a fairly rapid internet download speed as well.

If we can find someone who feels like a good fit we’re ready to add more tasks and projects to expand on the hours. I have other investors in my community who need this work done as well so there’s opportunity there too.
