—–What you’ll do—–
As an Operations Manager, you’ll be responsible for:
• Align strategic plans and goals to determine real estate operation needs and long-term objectives for the organization
• Evaluate current real estate property acquisition plans, property operations and management systems, and business processes related to the company’s real estate portfolio
• Identify properties for acquisition and/or create/analyze financials related to real estate acquisition to assess best course of action and disposition
• Research, plan and implement new procedures and systems for real estate operations to maximize operating efficiency, reduce downtime and risk, control costs and add value.
• Formulate real estate operations policies and practices and standard operating procedures to include safe and secure real estate operations
• Co-ordinate with the Team regarding real estate operations, financial and budget activities for maximum value and efficiency, including cost and time saving measures
• Facilitate the preparation and analysis of real estate operation reports
• Review performance data to monitor and measure productivity, goal progress and activity levels using appropriate key performance indicators and other measurements
• Responsible for the achievement of HQ and program real estate operations productivity, safety programs rules, guidelines and quality goals
—- The Real Estate Operations Manager works to ensure operations run smoothly, efficiently and cost effectively in order to meet the business needs of the organization. He/she will play a key role in identifying securing and supporting real estate acquisitions and dispositions. Emphasis will be on acquiring properties and disposing them. In addition, the manager will lead, support and/or collaborate (as appropriate) with the team, will be involved in the planning, budgeting, coordinating, maintaining and operating real estate properties, cost efficiency and increasing value. This position will report to the CEO, team members in other departments and other internal stakeholders to manage, maintain and determine future real estate needs. In coordination with the Team, the Manager of Real Estate Operations will research, plan and implement solutions that are cost-saving, state-of-the art and maximally efficient.
The following experience is relevant to us:
Prior experience as an Operations Manager is a must.
Real Estate Experience is a plus.
Prior experience with an investment company or real estate brokerage or leasing agency is ideal.
