**Job Title: Short Term Rental Permit Administrator**

**Job Description:**

We are seeking a dedicated Short Term Rental Permit Administrator to join our team. This role involves a high level of coordination and interaction with various government agencies and internal teams to ensure the successful submission and approval of short-term rental permit applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for navigating the complexities of permit applications across different jurisdictions including state, city, township, county, and homeowners’ associations (HOAs). This position requires a keen understanding of legal ordinances related to short-term rentals and the ability to apply this knowledge effectively.

**Key Responsibilities:**

1. **Permit Application Submission:** Prepare and submit short-term rental permit applications across various levels of government and HOAs, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and requirements.

2. **Coordination with Agencies:** Engage in extensive coordination with government agencies to understand requirements, track application status, and facilitate smooth processing of permits.

3. **Internal Collaboration:** Work closely with internal teams to gather necessary information and documentation for permit applications.

4. **Legal Ordinance Interpretation:** Understand and interpret legal ordinances and regulations relevant to short-term rentals, ensuring that all applications are compliant.

5. **Record Keeping and Data Management:** Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of permit applications and their statuses using tools like Google Sheets and Dropbox.

6. **Project Tracking:** Utilize project management tools such as Jira and Confluence to track progress and document processes related to permit applications.

7. **Communication:** Effectively communicate with government bodies, internal teams, and other stakeholders to ensure a smooth permit application process.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

– **Experience:** Minimum of 3-5 years in a role involving legal, administrative, and coordination tasks, preferably in a related field.
– **Technical Proficiency:** Skilled in using Google Sheets and Dropbox for data management. Familiarity with Jira and Confluence is a plus.
– **Organizational Skills:** Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
– **Communication Skills:** Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal, for effective interaction with government bodies and internal teams.
– **Legal Comprehension:** Capability to comprehend, interpret, and apply legal ordinances in the context of short-term rental permit applications.
– **Problem-Solving:** Ability to navigate complex regulatory environments and find solutions to potential challenges in the permit application process.
