JOB SUMMARY:
We are looking for a Real Estate Portfolio Insurance Manager to administer and track the company’s insurance policies, ensure compliance, and assist with new property insurance. Furthermore, in this role, you will ensure that the insurance team understands its duties and function within the company. Real Estate Portfolio Insurance Managers are responsible for planning, organizing, directing, controlling, and evaluating the activities of property insurance services. The applicant should have several years of experience in the insurance industry, especially in commercial real estate.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Collecting property information to fill out and submit insurance applications correctly
Creating an insurance policy statement that outlines our company’s insurance goals
Engaging insurance agents for proposals
Monitoring the progress of proposals to guarantee that we bind the necessary insurance by the closing date.
Engaging regional managers to guarantee that insurance carriers’ mandated activities are followed.
Keeping track of policy renewal dates and ensuring that payments are paid on time
Tracking Park Owned Home inventory to add/remove residences as needed
Obtaining and filing all insurance policy paperwork, including COI, EPI, invoices, and policy binder, on g-drive.
Submitting and managing insurance claims for all lines of insurance from start to finish
Providing EPI letters to lenders and vendors as required
Examining insurance policy coverage limitations to ensure suitable levels of coverage are obtained at each property.
Maintain accurate records
Developing plans for insurance progress
Identify and collaborate with the senior executives to develop strategies and procedures that guarantee risks are managed effectively from an insurance viewpoint.
Supervising insurance staff
QUALIFICATIONS
Have prior experience as an Real Estate Portfolio Insurance Manager, Property Insurance Manager
Proficiency in Microsoft Applications
Experience with or knowledge of real estate management (Required)
Property Insurance management experience
Ability to manipulate large amounts of information
Ability to work independently
Leadership with ability to manage and motivate a team
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A positive attitude and a professional demeanor
Risk Management skills a plus
Excellent Written and Oral Communication skills
